Starting a mailing list business is the easiest way to start making money online. It really is just about getting people on your mailing list and then by promoting your affiliate link to someone else’s product or service to them.
This is only successful if two things happen:
1. You get traffic to your site
The cheapest way to get traffic is to website is by getting links pointing to your site from other people’s site. This is called backlinks. You get backlinks by writing articles and submitting them to article submission sites. Or you can just comment on other people’s blogs and make sure that they give you the option to include you website address.
2. You convert your traffic into subscribers
It will not pay you to get a million people to your site when you do not have a form where they can sign up. There are also a few other factors that may influence the conversion rate of your traffic. Make it easier for the traffic to see where they can sign up and you will see an instant increase in your conversion rate. You may want to use a picture or more color around your signup form to draw attention. If you display the sign up form in the top half of your web page, you should also see more subscribers signing up.
